A group of students from the Computer Science Club at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ College during the 2025 Game Jam event, in which they designed, developed, and showcased their games.  The event was organized by Professor Jace King (Computer Science) and by Computer Science Club President Matar Anas '25 and Jessie Chau '27. Trieu Khang Trat '28 won the competition, which also featured a guest talk from renowned game designer and developer Cole Medeiros, organized by Dr. Ricardo Martins (Media Studies). Throughout the Jam, students received guidance and support from both Professor King and Dr. Sean Kugele (Computer Science), who helped them bring their game ideas to life.

Departmental News and Events

A business major with an interest in marketing, Addison Leonard native recently completed an internship with ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and will travel to Prague in the spring.
Senior computer science major Abbie Seale worked on a project with University of North Texas researchers last summer, and their research will be published in a special volume focusing on state-of-the-art technologies.
Economics and mathematics major Drishti Bhatia ’26 presented the winning pitch at the recent ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ College Venture Challenge, gaining the $15,000 Grand Prize to help launch PlatePlan, which she co-founded with business major Winston Gasch ’26.
